Here you will find model tasks for the Speaking part of the B1 exam (Goethe‑Zertifikat B1). These examples help you understand the structure of the speaking test and practise each step with confidence.
The B1 Speaking exam has 3 parts:
Part 1: Presentation – You talk briefly about a familiar topic.
Part 2: Interaction – You discuss a situation together with your partner.
Part 3: Conversation – You answer questions and react spontaneously.
The speaking exam follows a fixed timetable, and you must complete each part within the given time. Use the model tasks to practise your presentation, improve your interaction skills, and train spontaneous speaking. Choose one of the available model tasks and start practising. Try to complete the speaking simulation in one go, without stopping, so you can feel the real exam rhythm.
