Right of withdrawal

Information on the Right of Withdrawal

1. Statutory Right of Withdrawal

In-Person Courses and Online Courses with Fixed Dates:

For contracts concerning the provision of services related to leisure activities, where the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance, consumers do not have a statutory right of withdrawal pursuant to Section 312g (2) No. 9 of the German Civil Code (BGB). Your booking becomes binding immediately upon our confirmation.

Self-Study Packages (Digital Content):

For contracts regarding the supply of digital content not delivered on a physical data carrier (e.g., downloadable courses, digital self-study packages), consumers generally have a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal.

This right of withdrawal expires prematurely if:

  • You expressly consented to us beginning performance of the contract before the expiration of the withdrawal period,
  • You have acknowledged that by giving your consent you lose your right of withdrawal once performance begins, and
  • We have provided you with confirmation of your consent and acknowledgement on a durable medium (e.g., via email).

2. Voluntary Cancellation Right

Irrespective of any statutory right of withdrawal, we grant you the following voluntary cancellation right for our scheduled courses:

  • Up to 3 working days (Monday to Friday) before the start of the course: You may cancel your participation free of charge in text form by email to [email protected].
  • Fewer than 3 working days before the start of the course as well as in the event of non-attendance: The full course fee becomes due. However, you retain the right to prove that no damage was incurred or that the damage incurred was significantly lower than the agreed fee.
